In a decor dominated by multi-coloured sails, the By Malene Birger Spring 2019 RTW collection designed by Mathilde Torp Mader celebrates women everywhere, and empowers them with modern clothes that bring joy.

This is a collection to show the world what we stand for – unapologetically feminine clothes that celebrate women everywhere, in all their glory, shapes, sizes and guises. that’s done in explicit ways – as with our prints starring women – and implicitly, with clothes that are strong but definitely feminine. there is a sense of possibility here – these are clothes that reflect a multifaceted life, one that wants a corseted jumpsuit one day, and a cotton poncho the next.

The space – an old railway station in the heart of Copenhagen – was transformed to make a show to remember. See huge multi-coloured sails throughout, bringing a breeze – not to mention a sculptural elegance – to a downtown favourite.
