With irreverent playfulness, the Christian Louboutin Interior Design Fall 2018 collection includes twisted codes and elements from the ’60s and ’70s. He set forth a repertoire of surprising new styles standing at the corner of fashion and art.

The collection features a mix and match of colours, textures and shapes brought together into highly decorative combinations. Boots and stilettos display the result of his joyful research with bold hues and sharp shapes. On the iconic Paloma bag, an exclusive Jacquard fabric, the tissu géometrique, boasts geometrical lines and a wild palette of nuances while the Rubylou is reinterpreted in three contrasted calves (burgundy velvet, black patent and gold patent) assembled and cut together by laser to look like a lace dévoré.

Christian’s extensive use of materials reproduce natural elements. Versatile, the Hilconico boots feature a soft and deep poodle fabric recalling astrakhan. Seemingly made of granite, horn or gold, its heels elongate the silhouette with luxurious materials inviting closer attention.

Architect of the silhouette as much as designer, Christian Louboutin further expands his approach with a singular audacity in technical conception. All golden gleams, the Elyette heel defies conventions with its sculptural shape. On the Rotonda style, the heel is set back to create a flattering curve and enhance the modernity of round shapes.

The Interior Design collection will be available worldwide on ChristianLouboutin.com and in the Louboutin Boutiques starting from September 2018.
