Bonpoint Paris, a new collection imagined under the impetus of Christine Innamorato, appeared quite naturally as the interpretation of a Bonpoint wardrobe dedicated to women. This contemporary line imbued with a discreet luxury, is made up of essentials where modernity and timelessness are fundamental qualities. It celebrates the unique and simple allure of a sophisticated urban woman, embodied by an enlightened and inspired Audrey Marnay who perfectly evokes the Bonpoint Paris woman.
This first collection, conceived in line with the children’s collections of the house, is inspired by the paintings of Elizabeth Peyton and the allure of Jean-Michel Basquiat. The warm colours and the individual style of American painter Peyton are gracefully reinterpreted as cashmere cardigans, pieces in lace and dresses in printed silk. Blouses with a Victorian edge come in plumetis cotton and entre-deux lace, or in flocked crêpe. Here and there, little carefree collars are punctured with delicate buttons or ruffles.
Silhouettes are marked with the attitude of Jean-Michel Basquiat and his creative energy. An exquisite suit in Prince-of-Wales check and a masculine coat cut from a tartan wool are worn in turn with denim jeans, leather shorts or a jacquard sweater.
The Bonpoint Paris collection has been designed to sublimate an approach, an expression, a way of being oneself. The materials are chosen with care: inspired prints are created by the House. Impeccable cuts and meticulous detail celebrate every facet of the Bonpoint woman: her charm, her sense of chic and her independence. But above all, her freedom.
