July 11, 2018
The Michael Michael Kors Fall 2018 ad campaign spotlights everyday opulence and refined ease in the streets of New York City, specifically the archetypal Manhattan neighbourhood that is the Upper East Side.
“I wanted the campaign to evoke a sense of life in New York City as it’s really lived, to catch the day-to-day things people do amidst the energy and beauty of the city. There’s a wonderful naturalness and immediacy to Lachlan’s pictures that made him the right choice to tell this story,” said Michael Kors.
For the first time in 14 years, the designer enlists a new photographer–Australian lensman Lachlan Bailey. The images star Andreea Diaconu and Baptiste Radufe. From a park bench to a cafe, the Romanian model looks glam in every shoot.
The MMK campaign is inspired by the designer’s love for the city and the energy and ease of everyday life in New York, while the Collection campaign offers a modern take on the iconic jet set sensibility that has become synonymous with the Michael Kors brand.
