BALENCIAGA PRE-FALL 2018 AD CAMPAIGN
Balenciaga explores the art of mixing and matching in this latest campaign.

For the Balenciaga Pre-Fall 2018 collection, Demna Gvasalia explores the Parisian style archetypes, born observing the people who normally crowd the streets of Paris.
The pieces in the collection emerge the normcore attitude of the designer of Georgian origin and the tendency to merge many different pieces together, thus amplifying the possible outifits.
The new collection includes overcoats, plaid shirts worn with T-shirts, denim, windbreakers, Triple S and shoppers, with some belt bag designs. Riding along that same wavelength, the Demna Gvasalia-helmed brand recently hit up Instagram to tease featured looks from the lineup, while also announcing pre-order dates.
Images for the women’s designs showcase the label’s affinity for unstructured shapes, statement prints and tactile layering techniques, combining hefty outerwear with eclectic shirt combinations.
The women’s collection, on the other hand, is up for pre-order now with in-store drops scheduled for May 16.
