In the whirlwind that is fashion month around the world, on the first week of March we found ourselves in the narrow streets of Paris’ 1st arrondissement at the designer’s showroom as he debuted the Christian Louboutin Fall 2018 collection to admiring eyes from near and far.

The world of Christian Louboutin playfully came to life as shoes were presented in miniature, yet meticulously detailed interior vignettes. Paying tribute to the landmarks on Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the unique crafts house with its meticulously done rooms is the stage for the designer’s Fall selection.

Pulling inspiration from vintage fabrics and putting an emphasis on unique materials, Christian looked to the creative freedom of 60’s and 70’s interiors to reimagine the new collection as true objets d’art.

Presenting mod and psychedelic styles, the collection inspired by vintage fabrics featured classic ’70s “earth” tones along with a new offering of baby Louboutins as well.
