STELLA MCCARTNEY PRE-FALL 2018 COLLECTION
Pops of color, prints, and parties, Stella McCartney unveils a rocking Pre-Fall collection.
January 19, 2018
Presenting the Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2018 womenswear collection for the first time, the brand unveiled a masculine take on effortlessly feminine silhouettes exploring the multi-faceted wardrobe of the Stella woman.
Deconstructed lingerie stood out from the collection to bring a naturally sexy attitude to the LA affair; with slip dresses in dusty rose offering a soft, effortless edge to women’s dressing.
Graphic prints and optical illusion zig-zag motifs popped on tiered dresses and slouchy pyjamas. Veering off to the wild side knitwear and sustainable ECONYL® nylon outerwear are splashed in a kaleidoscope of animal prints – from watercolour cheetah to leopard spots.
Alongside womenswear, we debuted the Autumn Winter 2018 menswear collection – a reimagining of traditional prints and fabrics to shift the mood to the street. Tattersall and gingham checks find new life under brushed melange sports-inspired tops, while iconic uniform styles – school, army, sportswear or farmer – are mixed, matched and updated with a modern edge. A jarring of familiar and disruptive themes to explore British cultural conventions.
