VICTORIA BECKHAM PRE-FALL 2018 COLLECTION
Victoria Beckham adds a touch of serenity to her ultra-feminine, '70s-inspired Pre-Fall collection.

This season, the famed designer incorporated her love of crystals into her accessories offering in the Victoria Beckham Pre-Fall 2018 collection. “It’s very personal and something I believe in,” Beckham said. “I think it’s a nice touch.”
The collection features a chunky wool sweater in a mélange yarn worn with glossy burgundy leather pants, a lilac suede short-sleeved jacket and matching lilac suede flares, an emerald green bias-cut silk dress with a sexy open back, and an asymmetrical, off-the-shoulder dress tailored from navy men’s suiting material. The lineup was a day-to-night wardrobe with a luxurious and minimal vibe. Season after season Beckham’s collection always plays with proportions with the emphasis on knits of all kinds, and to an unexpected, quite vivid palette that pairs mint with rust.
Included was also boxy outerwear – large-lapelled trenches and overcoats, stiff-shouldered blazers and wide-legged trousers interspersed with more overtly feminine looks – skirts cinched at the waist, patterned fabrics and flowing dresses, all accompanied by the unerring elegance of the turtle-neck sweater, which peeks out beneath outwear or atop of skirting. With a 1970s aesthetic, a combination of the exaggerated collars and Paisley print were prominent.
