July 12, 2017
Presenting the Paule Ka Fall 2017 ad campaign, the latest in a series of collaborations between Creative Director Alithia Spuri-Zampetti and British photographer Miles Aldridge.
This season, the bold femininity of the collection embodied by the ever-charismatic Anna Cleveland. The campaign is an homage to the splendour of Parisian architecture, sees Anna suspended in a meticulously recreated, haussmannian-era lounge, glazed in turquoise and framed in gold. Celebrating the opulent inspirations of the collection each image exposes the viewer to a different perspective of the Paule Ka woman floating gracefully above. Through the lens of Miles Aldridge, Anna Cleveland is mesmerising as she dances in weightlessness. Although this is their first time working together, Alithia and Anna are kindred spirits of sorts; Alithia, an Italian raised in the US and Anna an American raised in Rome, their paths now cross in Paris, the city both have come to call home.
In the same way both have come to embody the ideals of the Parisian woman in their own wardrobes, elegant, romantic, and independent, a style which is the foundation of the Maison Paule Ka and it is this correlation of perspectives and innate understanding which has led to such an compelling partnership. As the style of the house continues to evolve each season, it never overlooks the heritage of what has come before, always remaining true to its roots.
Effortlessly displaying the quiet luxury of city where it began, intrinsically Parisian but forever looking forward.
