Known for its coveted online offering on luxury fashion and accessories, MyTheresa has launched an exclusive collection with Italian fashion label Prada.

Injected with a line of must-have wardrobe wants, the Prada x MyTheresa.com capsule collection features a selection of brightly coloured accessories, shoes and ready-to-wear that represent the quintessential Prada woman.

The 29-piece collection has a subtle ’60s influence, following a narrative similar to that of the Pre-Fall 2017 show but adapted cleverly for the exclusive collaboration. The offering uses lighter and brighter color combinations, bolder prints, and lighter fabrics, all whilst featuring the quintessentially Prada nipped-in waists and midi-length skirts.

Consisting of dresses, skirts, tops, shoulder bags and pointed mules and flats, the collection comes complete with embellishments, feathers and a summer-approved colour palette. A key feature is the wide use of feathers, continuing the successful use of the trim in Prada’s spring/summer 2017 and later runway collections.

The feathers have been added as shoulder straps for bags, as a fairly lavish update to classic white or floral-printed shirts, dresses and skirts, to give a further decadent slant to satin flat or high-heeled slides in power brights, and to add an edge to simple cardigans.

The use of intricate beading also adds quirky Prada glamour to cocktail dresses and accessories including statement gloves.
