MYKITA x Maison Margiela introduces the new styles for the capsule collections ESSENTIAL, RAW and TRANSFER. The collaboration is avant-garde eyewear design representing the creative tradition of both houses – the reinterpretation of historical forms, radical experimentation with constructions and a fresh approach to materials.

Experimental shapes using a minimalistic material concept distinguish the coveted ESSENTIAL collection. The newest addition MMESSE015 presents a wicked take on the aviator, maintaining the characteristic double bridge but adopting a rather unorthodox curved top line and cheeky, arched corners. The style is in stainless steel and comes in Silver, Dark Grey, Nude, Champagne Gold.

An unpolished surface meets solid, expressive shapes – this is RAW. Two new models join the acetate collection. MMRAW005 is a voluminous geometric cat-eye with the characteristic RAW keyhole bridge. The classic round form of MMRAW006 sets an appealing contrast to the untreated exterior for an archaic look. This style is in Acetate in Raw Black, Raw Mardi Gras, Raw Black Drops, Raw Trinidad.

A new shape and texture joins the exclusive MYKITA x Maison Margiela TRANSFER collection. With its round shape, prominent bridge and flat lenses, unisex MMTRANSFER004 has a strong modern aesthetic. Etched and meticulously lacquered by hand, the organic texture and grain pattern of pinewood covers the generous stainless steel surface of the frame. New colourway Rose Gold/Light Grey Pine gives the natural wood grain an urban upgrade. also in stainless steel.
