Shop the interactive Burberry February 2017 collection, inspired by the life and creations of artist Henry Moore.
Fresh from its see-now, buy-now collection presented during London Fashion Week, Burberry launches its Spring 2017 campaign. The advertisements were photographed by Josh Olins in the gardens of the Henry Moore Studios & Gardens. A cast of fresh faces including Ella King, Maya Gunn, Amber Witcomb, Elfie Reigate, Tamara Long, Jess Cole, Sophie Hamilton and Nora Attal appear in the outdoor shots. The campaign video is shot at the Henry Moore Studios & Gardens at Perry Green, Hertfordshire.
The new season spotlights sculptural coats and capes for spring. For accessories, cut-out ankle boots and large handbags stand out. A symbol of protection since the 1880s, the Burberry cape finds a new expression at the brand’s London atelier. Presenting 78 individual couture capes, first introduced on the February runway. Inspired by the scale and form of Henry Moore’s elemental sculptures and created using unique constructions, each design is handmade and available to special order.
“Each one is a unique collector’s piece incorporating unexpected materials and intricate techniques,” said Creative Director and CEO, Christopher Bailey.
The Cape Reimagined was on display at Makers House, London, until 27 February 2017. The travelling exhibition will visit cities including Paris, Tokyo and Los Angeles.
