Millennials take over for the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2017 ad campaign featuring actress Zendaya, French model Thylane Blondeau and social media star Sonia Ben Ammar star in the colorful shots captured in Capri, Italy. Cameron Dallas, Brandon Thomas Lee, Presley Gerber, Luka Sabbat and Rafferty Law also appear in the Franco Pagetti lensed images.
In addition, locals add some candid flavor complete with vespas, pasta and shops. The girls shine in a mix of polka dot prints, embellished jackets and distressed denim.
The Dolce & Gabbana Sprign 2017 collection’s prints look in their natural environment here, almost looking as reinvented camouflage prints when utilized in the savannah.
Among the many evening-inspired garments, the campaign leaves also enough room for Dolce & Gabbana to play with their more casual staples, among which shredded and embellished denim surely dominates. Shirts, dresses and tops with butterfly sleeves, along with layered skirts, are, however, always at the core of the campaign’s pictures, inevitably reminding us of some of next season’s hottest trends.
The ladies wear festive dresses, tropical florals, paired with matching headpieces, youthful miniskirts, denim and, of course, the “bootleg” D&G T-shirts that were the talk of the runway finale.
Mixing D&G’s traditional over-the-top glamour with more casual, streetwear-inspired silhouettes will surely catch the eye of social media-savvy youths wanting to emulate these muses without alienating the house’s core customer.
