The Fendi Pre-Fall 2017 collection exposes a strong femininity through structured silhouettes mixed with light pieces showcasing the transitional charm of the season.

The collection features a subdued color palette, where warm welcoming colors such as orange, dark green, and black flawlessly dominate the scene. Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld adds touches of summer colors, such as blush pink and off-white, contrasting with the line-up’s darker and sharp-cut staples.

The silhouettes are clean with a few frilly options and heavily pleated cuts and ethereal butterfly, adding a sweet femininity to the collection. Lagerfeld decided to experiment with both rigor and fun, letting dichotomist staples such as clean-cut cape coats and slightly Nineties-inspired, asymmetrical gowns. Lagerfeld undeniably also focused on midi gowns and tailored coats.

With a versatile line-up of fabrics with some fur options juxtaposing lightweight materials such as jacquard and warmer fabrics like wool and cashmere.

Fendi’s pre-fall 2017 accessory line, the handbags compliment each one of the collection’s looks. The brand showcases a new bag dubbed Back to School.
