Coney Island is the backdrop for the Just Cavalli Fall 2016 ad campaign and to Creative Director Peter Dundas’ collection, a celebration of youthful rebellion and spontaneous style. A Fun fair, a hang-out, this is the setting to the rites of passage of generations.

Photographer Sebastian Faena captured the energy of both clothes and the new Just Cavalli kids, dressed in the saturated shades of Andy Warhol screen-prints, in neon zebra and leopard prints, slick glam-rock style tinged with punk and New Wave influences. Music inspires a new vision of rocker chic for 2016 – sharper, urgent, more exciting.

Coney Island underscores the mood of Americana in the leathers and chiffons, the pin-up embroideries, the retro-tinged Rodeo detailing for new urban cowboys.

A gang of faces, each unique and stylishly distinctive, are photographed on a bare boardwalk in early morning light, like up-all-night revelers captured before making the journey home. Hedonistic, glamorous, youthful and free, these are the rebels, the baby rockers who emblems the Just Cavalli attitude.

Watch behind the scenes as the rebel Just Cavalli kids take on the fair.
