With a cheerful and carefree take on the season, the Giamba 2017 Resort collection by Giambattista Valli takes on the tropics with busy prints and patterns and vibrant colors.

From flamingos to rainbows and palm trees to pineapples, these prints compliment embroidered sleeveless sweatshirt top, skinny jacquard trousers, and a variety of floaty, off-the shoulder smocked hippie dresses, giving way to the West Coast aesthetic of the line.

The 30-piece collection also showcases the designer’s signature silhouettes that soften the entire collection with frills, puffed-up sleeves and bright prints. Prints are consistently showcased throughout the collection, dynamically alternating more conventional designs such as floral and retro geometric motifs, with the aforementioned tropical themes, which add pops of bright, vibrant colors to the entire line-up. 3-D silk embroidered flower buds that adorned the collars and belted waists of some frilled blouses and Valli’s covetable-as-ever baby doll dresses.

The collection also juxtaposes pure street-style vibes with more feminine touches, serving us bomber jackets with floral decorations, button-down shirts with lace embroideries, oversized asymmetrical t-shirts combined with pinstripe short shorts adorned with tiger prints.

The accessories continued on this fun theme with touches of glittery, shimmery and matte with peep-toe chunky sandals.
