British shoe and accessories designer Sophia Webster has just opened her first stand-alone boutique in the middle of London’s Mayfair sprinkled with her signature butterfly and flamingo emblems.
“I’m delighted to announce the opening of my first boutique retail space. I have long dreamt of a physical destination for those who already follow and support my brand online and through social media so they can truly step into my world,” said Webster.
The 400-square-foot space will stock Webster’s seasonal footwear collections, her recently-launched handbag range, as well as dedicated evening, mini and bridal collections. The boutique combines details from all of her cult collections – think bespoke pastel pouffes, a flamingo chandelier and coat rack made from statement heels. This really is the ultimate Sophia Webster dream world.
“Having a permanent retail outlet will bring me an insightful new connection with my customers, and the process of designing the interior has helped me to refine and create a blueprint for future shops and spaces. It is the start of a very exciting new chapter.”
Located at 124 Mount Street, the fabulous store is down the road from Nicholas Kirkwood’s boutique for whom she worked as a design assistant, as well as from a host of other London-based designers such as Simone Rocha, Christopher Kane and Roksanda.
