Debuting the Jenny Packham Spring 2017 Bridal Collection at New York Bridal Fashion Week, the designer created an intimate Barn Dance themed presentation which reflected the inspiration of the collection; set on the plains of the Midwest and inspired by the afterglow of a wild night.
The collection features a green tea–color chiffon gown with balloon sleeves and a smattering of pink flowers inspired by the “plains of the Midwest.” It would be ideal for a summer garden wedding. Elsewhere, one champagne V-neck number looked as easy as a T-shirt. Silhouettes were slinky and unstructured, not a single ball skirt or corset in sight. In keeping with the rustic theme, Packham also favored beige and cream, which lent a softer glow to all the jewels and embellishment.
Launched in 1988, Packham’s distinctive signature style has contributed to revolutionise the bridal industry, introducing a contemporary approach to design and styling.
