Joining its Haute Couture and ready-to-wear collections, Elie Saab launches an entirely new line of wedding dresses and accessories, Elie Saab Bridal.
Elie Saab Bridal provides a unique offer that reflects the development of the brand, and its desire to accompany women throughout different moments of their lives. Elie Saab’s contemporary and modern interpretation of bridal wear follows the style evolution of its ready-to-wear collections over the last few seasons. Faithful to its core design codes, the House presents the essentials of a feminine and daring silhouette in this bridal collection, comprised of 25 styles.
Gowns, whether fitted or grand, are adorned with guipure, dotted tulle and silk chiffon while a carefree play of lace
offers sheer and subtle exposure of shoulders, legs and waistlines. Signature embroideries and draperies echo the House’s history of craftsmanship. The iconic jumpsuit is reinterpreted with floral motif embroidery, and in graphic cuts with a layered, split skirt. The collection also features shorter dresses, alongside ballet slippers, speaking to the air du temps and the desires of contemporary brides today. Matching veils, Swarovski crystal headbands, shoes and clutches form an accessories collection to complement the Elie Saab Bridal line.
Accompanying the launch of the collection, a digital campaign animates the word “oui” (yes) of the engagement proposal. Inspired by this single magical word and with a natural and light-hearted attitude, the House puts into play the collection’s styles.
A selection of styles is available immediately in stores (Paris, Beirut, Dubai, Hong Kong and at Harrods in London). From October 2016, the entire collection will be presented in Elie Saab boutiques, selected points of sale and department stores.
