To celebrate the worldwide release of Walt Disney Pictures’ live-action adventure ‘The Jungle Book’ this April, the Parisian fashion brand Kenzo has designed a limited-edition collection inspired by the story’s classic characters. Mowgli, Bagheera the panther, and King Louie the orangutan are just a few who will be featured in the collection. The tropical prints are vibrant and coloful, and feature characters from the beloved 1967 Disney film.

Creative Directors of the brand, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, designed the pieces from the Kenzo x Disney capsule collection using original drawings from the Disney archives. They also created jungle-like prints for the collection which includes dresses, skirts, tops, sweaters, and jackets. One highlight is the crewneck logo sweater featuring the tiger Shere Khan in lieu of the brand’s own tiger emblem.

“What we found most appealing for this project was to marry strong Jungle Book elements with details that we know as quintessential Kenzo. There’s a way that everything comes together that is slightly familiar but also really fresh and exciting,” Leon and Lim say in a joint statement. “The silhouettes we chose for the garments and accessories were inspired by the new direction Disney has taken with the live-action movie.”
