Teaming up with the brand for the second time, artistic director of Atelier Franck Durand, took to the streets of London for the Bally Spring 2016 ad campaign. Inspired by the European travels of Lee Radziwill, an American socialite and the younger sister of Jackie Kennedy, Durand once again casts celebrated model Edita Vilkevičiūtė as the central character, this time as the all-American girl adrift in the capital. She is joined for the second time by French model of the moment Clément Chabernaud, and shot by acclaimed photographer Alasdair McLellan.
Whether strolling through Portobello Market or hiking the Hollywood Hills, the Bally Spring 2016 collection effortlessly expresses the notion of freedom and wanderlust.
Unexpected details worn with nonchalance constantly challenge a normcore look. Think a silk tuxedo blazer untraditionally fastened with a hook, or leather babouche slippers subverting the idea of a classic loafer, while the Brancusi heel on a suede boot steers the look towards subtle eccentricity.
