Guests at the UNICEF Ball presented by Louis Vuitton in Los Angeles make a promise to help children in urgent need. The French luxury house has committed to make a difference to the children of the world who are too often at risk, exposed to conflicts, diseases, natural disasters and other threatening situations.
Star-studded event was drooling with the crème de la crème of the fashion world who helped to raise over $2.5 million for UNICEF. Louis Vuitton’s newest face Lea Seydoux joined Nicolas Ghesquière wearing a custom, black bodysuit gown. Celebrities like Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Connelly, Paul Bettany, Selena Gomez, Adele Exarchopoulos and Miranda Kerr graced the event and the moments were captured by the lens of Patrick Demarchelier. Other notable guests included the likes of Xavier Dolan, Mariah Carey, Doona Bae, Tao Okamoto and Carina Lau, all dressed in Louis Vuitton designs.
The stars posed for portraits at the event while making a “pinky swear” to stand by vulnerable children around the world as part of Louis Vuitton’s #MakeaPromise campaign.
As a part of the #Makeapromise movement, the French fashion house has designed a silver Lockit pendant and bracelet, each retailing at $500. For each sale, $200 will be donated, on your behalf, to UNICEF to help children in more than 190 countries around the world.
