Bottega Veneta’s Creative Director Tomas Maier has launched the ‘Art of Collaboration’ project in 2002, inviting world-renowned photographers and artists to collaborate on the house’s advertising campaigns. Over 1000 photographs illustrate these unique artistic partnerships, season after season, from 2002 to 2016.
The Bottega Veneta ‘Art of Collaboration’ tome captures the vision of the Creative Director Tomas Maier, who launched the project in which a renowned photographer or artist would work on the brand’s campaign of the moment. The contributors include Lord Snowdon, Annie Leibovitz, Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, and others.
“I like that there are skilled hands behind Bottega Veneta who come together to make our products. In a way the “Art Of Collaboration” series extends this sense once the products have been made, collaborating with photographers and artists to create something valid and of quality,” said Maier.
The book sells for $135 and is available for purchase at BottegaVeneta.com and at select book stores.
