Knits riddled with intentional holes were slung over satin slips, while a coat lined with flecked fur brought to mind a thrift-store treasure. The ubiquitous miniskirts looked uncomfortably short and tight, but their presence was balanced out by rocker-chic looks, including a pin-striped trouser suit dotted with tiny silver studs.

The Zadig & Voltaire collection is showcased in Paris, in Thierry Gillier’s Haussmann-style apartment with a focus on the key winter pieces. We are shown a close-up on a bag or boot resting on the pile of art books in a room decorated with contemporary artwork, with bright light shining on its white walls.
