The Miu Miu Spring 2015 eyewear collection addresses a sophisticated, free-and-easy clientele particularly attentive to new trends. It expresses an alternative style, always characterized by a strong personality. The Miu Miu brand is urban, young, sophisticated and sensual, an alternative vision, a “new classic”.

Starring Mia Goth, Imogen Poots and Marine Vacth, the Miu Miu Spring 2015 ad campaign explore ways of building cinematic tension. Through dynamic editing and the use of classical music, emotions emerge and a narrative is formed that expands through the rooms each character inhabits.

Modeled by Imogen Poots, the sunglasses hold the raw cut bottom half that is so typical of Miu Miu. However, instead of the sleek cat eye silhouette that governed the past seasons, we are looking at a new, square shape. The thick rims and even thicker temples are, of course, still there. The unique character of these glasses shines through even more thanks to the marble-like finish. It’s clear: these statement Miu Miu sunglasses are the perfect conversation-starters for the new season.

These cinematic tableaux are filled with a sense of tension, an entwined narrative on the edge of dénouement, as we view these women’s stories and the collection through a series of captivating, interrupted moments.

The sets details – antique wallpapers, dark wood furniture, an unmade bed – create a sense of home. They call to mind the clash of historical and innovative fabrics and re-imagined icons of the collection.
