The event that took place on the 21^st of January marks a new stage in the Giorgio Armani Privé One Night Only series, which has taken place in some of the most important cities in the world such as London in 2006, Beijing in 2012, and New York in 2013. Taking place this year at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris the chic evening kickstarted with the Giorgio Armani Privé Spring 2014 show.

The opening of the Armani Eccentrico exhibition that has previously been hosted in Milan, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Rome and New York followed the Privé show. Open to the public from 22-26 January from 12:00 to 21:00 the exhibition will display a selection of 80 garments from the Giorgio Armani and Giorgio Armani Privé collections. Eccentrico also includes the exhibit of a range of accessories including jewellery, shoes, bags, hats and the Armani Privé fragrance collections.

“Paris is the undisputed capital of couture – fashion in its highest and most distinctive expression. I have always presented Armani Privé here. With its understated elegance, the city never ceases to inspire me. After having taken One Night Only around the world, it seemed only natural, if not a duty, to dedicate one to the Ville Lumière. And, in this magnificent setting, I think that the Eccentrico exhibition finds its most natural and proper place,” said the man of the hour Giorgio Armani.
