Following a recent store opening in London and two store openings in Paris, Elie Saab is pursuing its retail expansion. The luxury brand by the Lebanese designer is going overseas with the inauguration of the first American flagship store at 860 Madison Avenue, in New York.
The new outpost is the first in an updated retail strategy and a continuation of an ongoing collaboration with design agency RDAI.
The décor is characterized by mirror polished stainless steel walls and marble floors. The first floor houses its ready-to-wear collections, a private lounge and fitting rooms.
The opening of this boutique strengthens the brand’s position in North America, which is currently available, among others, at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, by offering a diverse selection of ready-to-wear items and accessories..
In total, the new American flagship spans 2,400 square feet set over two floors and has a minimal, serene feel—reflecting the design house’s signature aesthetic of modern femininity. A sweeping sculptural staircase anchors the store and each floor is segmented into display modules for different product offerings.
