Giuseppe Zanotti launches the highly-anticipated Signature Slim collection, a limited-edition re-issue of his most iconic and sought-after sandal.

The origin of the Slim begins in 2004 during an intimate dinner at a seaside restaurant in the historic fishing village of Cesenatico, Italy. Struck by a moment of pure creative inspiration, Giuseppe Zanotti sketched the first concept directly onto the restaurant’s tablecloth – a revolutionary design that transformed a discarded fishbone into a precious jewel sensuously draping across the foot. The name pays homage to the restaurant owner, a long-time friend of Giuseppe.

The Signature Slim showcases Giuseppe Zanotti’s unwavering commitment to Italian craftsmanship excellence. Each pair requires 48 hours of meticulous artisanal work, involves 21 different specialized artisans for 24 production steps, and undergoes 9 rigorous quality control checkpoints. The metal fishbone jewel was custom created based on Giuseppe’s original sketch and adapted to the foot’s ergonomics. Over 300 crystals on the fishbone are applied by hand, while premium Italian nappa leather straps ensure both comfort and luxury.
