At 98 Rue de l’Université, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Roger Vivier opens Maison Vivier, restored with care and hosts the new Spring 2026 collection along with the Maison’s ateliers, archives, and salons.

Curated by Inès de La Fressange, the Salon de l’Héritage presents a narrative of Vivier’s revolutionary design. Iconic creations from the 1950s–1990s are displayed with photographs of celebrated muses.  Le Salon Vivier evokes the intimate universe of the founder. Regency chairs and Louis XVI stools converse with Philippe Hiquily’s sculptural armchairs, Agnès Debizet’s lunar console, and Marcello Piacentini’s modernist chairs. Creative Director Gherardo Felloni’s office reveals his eclectic Parisian sensibility. Pink and green shades frame a Chinese Art Deco rug, antique armchairs, and a sculptural desk by Duccio Maria Gambi.  La Salle des Archives features 1,000 creations that are preserved here with sketches, magazines, and photographs, maintained at museum standards yet retaining the intimacy of a designer’s world.

Unveiled for the opening, the Belle Vivier 60 collection marks the shoe’s 60th anniversary. Created in 1965 by Monsieur Vivier, and established as an icon after it was worn by Catherine Deneuve in Buñuel’s 1967 film Belle de Jour, the Belle Vivier continues to epitomize Parisian chic with its clean lines and elegant square buckle. For this anniversary, creative director Gherardo Felloni has decided to reinterpret the buckle and explore embroidery, colours, and other inspirations from the archives.
