UNIQLO NEW BRAND AMBASSADOR CATE BLANCHETT

As its newest Global Brand Ambassador, Cate Blanchett will work alongside UNIQLO to advance the brand’s LifeWear philosophy.

Uniqlo partners with Cate Blanchett, Academy-award, BAFTA, and Golden Globe-winning actor, where she will work on the LifeWear philosophy, which emphasizes the continuous pursuit of excellence, humanitarian and next-generation support, and positive contribution to society.

Ms. Blanchett said, “I value the ambition of UNIQLO to make life better through its LifeWear apparel: timeless design, perfected simplicity, affordable, accessible, quality clothing that lasts. I am energized by the opportunity to help UNIQLO advance important aspects of its LifeWear philosophy-supporting the next generation, playing a part in highlighting and combatting the ongoing global displacement crisis, giving back to communities, and finding meaningful ways to contribute to a more equitable world. On top of that, to creatively reconnect with Clare Waight Keller and to be in dialogue with UNIQLO Global Brand Ambassador, Roger Federer, is a privilege indeed.”

UNIQLO enters the new partnership inspired by Ms. Blanchett’s global accomplishments and credibility, certain she makes an ideal UNIQLO Global Brand Ambassador. Beyond her work on stage and screen, Ms. Blanchett champions displaced people through her work as a Global Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. She is a member of the Earthshot Prize Council, inaugural Ambassador for Wakehurst’s Millennium Seed Bank, board member of the UK’s National Theatre, and Patron of both the Sydney Film Festival and NIDA Foundation. She supports numerous conservation and industry bodies including the Australian Conservation Foundation, the Actors Benevolent Fund, the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, and the Australian Wildlife Conservancy.
