Charlize Theron steps into a fresh role at Christian Dior, headlining the house’s first high jewelry campaign, shot by Mario Sorrenti.
Since 1999 Victoire de Castellane has shaped Dior’s jewelry identity with flights of imagination that balance technique with whimsy. Her latest collections provide the backdrop for Theron’s appearance, and the pieces are anything but quiet.
In one frame the actor wears Milly Dentelle Couture Fleurie, a necklace that rests against the skin like fine lace. Rose-gold links hold marquise- and pear-cut diamonds, crowned by an eight-carat cushion-cut Fancy Vivid Yellow stone, while smaller yellow diamonds scatter through the mesh.
A second portrait switches tone to winter cool. The Forêt Glacée Bleu set, part of the 2024 Diorama collection, translates the house’s toile de Jouy into platinum and rose gold dotted with blue sapphires. Foxes run through gem-set branches; an eleven-carat oval-cut sapphire from Madagascar anchors the necklace, with lacquer accents adding shadow.
