The Salvatore Ferragamo Pre-Fall 2024 collection is an articulation of the vocabulary Maximilian Davis has built for the house, seen through the distinctly desirable lens of summer. A summer wardrobe reveals itself: pieces which can seamlessly adapt between long days and even longer evenings spent on the beach.

Raffia, a staple of Ferragamo’s early designs, is translated into leather-lined cut-out totes, and the uppers of mules. The Ferragamo Hug bag – the quintessence of Ferragamo’s enduring legacy of craftsmanship and creativity – now exists in Raffia as well. Louche pajama tailoring and tropical kaftan dresses are imbued with carefreeness, while exacting the nature of their fabrication and construction, alongside elegant details like organic gold hardware.

While the collection remains rooted in the contemporary language of Ferragamo, the history of the house appears interwoven throughout. Seen throughout the campaign are accessories emblazoned with the iconic Venna motif. These everyday summer accessories paired with this historical logo, originally designed by artist Lucio Venna in the 1920’s, creates a simple, yet elegant juxtaposition of everyday ease and the luxurious history of the Ferragamo identity. “Ferragamo and Venna collaborated to create artwork that wasn’t to do with product: it was just about making really good imagery – and that collaboration made me particularly interested in that period, when Italians were using art as a rebellious form of expression,” explains Davis.

The entirety of this logo capsule features a denim tote with double leather top handles and a removable cross body strap, Off duty mules and sandals, a comfortable low-top sneaker, and a compact and versatile pouch.
