January 15, 2024
The Vivienne Westwood Spring 2024 ad campaign stars Naomi Campbell posing looks in Andreas Kronthaler’s intimate collection of Vivienne Westwood’s personal wardrobe over four decades.
The setting for this campaign was one of the last remaining mannequin factories in the far East of London, a place where the team could explore and capture the essence of the collection amidst the daily workings of the factory. The campaign, characterized by its intimate and industrial backdrop, provided a glimpse into the world of fashion creation, with the welcoming factory workers contributing to the lively and creative atmosphere.
The Spring Summer 2024 collection features Andreas Kronthaler‘s private survey of Vivienne Westwood’s personal wardrobe from the last four decades. This exploration of her wardrobe is not a retrospective but a loving reimagining of the silhouettes that have defined the brand’s aesthetic. The clothes, carefully organized and numbered by Kronthaler, are revisited and remade, reflecting a deep respect and admiration for Vivienne’s style and philosophy.
