Inspired by the vintage silhouettes and colors of the 80’s and 90’s, the Tamara Mellon Fall 2023 season has both new takes on classic styles and a reinvention of fan favorites.

“I spent a lot of time looking at Thierry Mugler from the 90’s, particularly the metal armor body suits. Thierry’s take on a powerful futuristic woman really inspired me. I also looked at fluorescent light artist Dan Flavin for color,” said Mellon.

Amongst the hero styles for the season, the Legacy Boot finds a new fitted calf shape in autumnal tones, the new Flare Pump, a fusion of nostalgia and futurism with its flare-shaped sling-back, comes in a stiletto and kitten heel, and the Sculpted Wedge is carried over with a sling-back style as well as a knitted sock, a nod to Tamara’s legacy as the inventor of the Legging Boot.

Crystals and studs feature prominently and are embellished on classic Tamara Mellon silhouettes, such as the Pillow Top sandal, available in new satin and glitter colorways, and her best-selling Biker Boot gets a make-over in new laminated leather options and stud embellishments.
