With boundless creativity, an abstract sensibility, and a contemporary edge, JW Anderson perpetuates his ties with Moncler and opts for upbeat escapism with his third collection.

Sending out a youthful and eye-catching message, the British designer’s take is rendered through a playful juxtaposition of contrasting elements in vibrant hues and swarming with psychedelic patterns.

Gender-fluid shapes with a distinctive outdoorsy feel further strengthen the dialogue with Moncler’s functional roots and sporty legacy:  padded parkas with leather straps; cropped blousons; zip-up jackets; oversized jumpers; sweatshirts, and hoodies are delivered in an explosion of intense hues such as yellow, green, baby blue, baby pink, electric blue, brown and coral.

Known for his unexpected yet primitive use of color, Anderson plays with the intensity of various sherbet shades by choice of materials. Shades of mellow yellows, pastel greens, baby pinks, electric blues, browns, and corals are illustrated through washed cottons, denims, and Moncler’s nylons and technical fabrics. Accessories like large tote bags and slides also follow the idea of supersizing by way of padding. Chelsea boots sport bouclè details, while sorbet colored crocheted hats complete the look.
