Set on the shores of Long Island’s North Fork, the Ulla Johnson Fall 2020 ad campaign is an ode to the nomadic spirit.

Hypnotic and intimate, the images convey a self-possessed sensuality and a sense of feminine freedom. Dreamy frocks with effusive ruffling, languid leather separates and easy knitwear, our gaze is set on new horizons.

Among the looks showcased in all their fluid and languid glory are batik-printed poplin blouses, jewel-toned cloqué, crocheted knitwear, aubergine-hued leather, plus her popular dresse silhouettes—this season, in ruffled cheetah-patterned silk and embroidered white tulle.

The dreamy images are lensed by Yelena Yemchuk, highlight autumn’s romantic designs. Styled by April Hughes, the pair wear tiered skirts, boho prints, and puff sleeves. For beauty, Bob Recine works on hair with flawless makeup by Romy Soleimani.
