For Chinese Valentine’s Day collection, the Gucci introduces the GG with apple print Collection featuring a motif made up of two interlocking red letter G, a playful reinterpretation of the famous House GG logo.

The GG with apple print uses the GG supreme patterned canvas as a base over which to print the design of the fruit. For a series of bags in classic beige and ebony GG supreme with red leather trim, the all-over GG with apple print adds a lively accent.

The GG with apple motif has a pop art spirit that animates a backpack, shoulder bags in a neo-vintage camera case style, a belt bag, a north/south top-handle tote and a rounded shoulder bag. Three other bags in the GG supreme with GG with apple print canvas have padlocks – a small tote, a small chain shoulder bag and a small top-handle with bamboo handle.

The GG with apple print features on GG supreme canvas and this is used for card cases, wallets, a key chain holder, a mini bag, a pouch and an iPhone cover. There is also a selection of card cases, wallets and mini bags in white leather printed with the GG with apple pattern. An unusual final expression of the new motif comes in the form of a coin case that is made in the shape of just one of the GG with apple print ‘apples’.

For silk and soft accessories the red GG with apple pattern is printed over a beige and ebony GG base, bringing characterful repeated splashes of colour to the pieces. This combination decorates a silk twill carré and ribbon, and a larger-sized shawl in modal silk. A baseball cap and a bucket hat come in GG supreme with the GG with apple print.

For shoes, the GG with apple print is screen-printed onto a cotton fabric base, which has a very dense and compact weave. The pattern sits on the beige and ebony GG supreme pattern for a slide and Ace sneaker, or a pink or white cotton fabric base for the Gucci 1977 Tennis shoe.
