The home of the Maison since 1812, 12 Place Vendôme in Paris more than ever represents the beating heart of Chaumet. On its 240th anniversary, the Maison opened newly-restored historic hôtel particulier, situated at No. 12, at the heart of the legendary epicentre of Parisian jewelry.
Beyond its restoration, balancing tradition with modernity, this reconceived location also highlights the metaphorical cornerstones of the Maison as its founder intended them: the virtuosity of the High Jewelry workshop, which now overlooks the square; culture and heritage, showcased in the grand salons, most notably the Salon Chopin, a listed historic monument; and in particular the clients, to whom is dedicated a boutique that captures the allure of an exceptional Parisian apartment, in which the Chaumet codes infuse pieces specially produced by peerless artisans.
Today this historic address houses a boutique with spaces that have been entirely redesigned, salons dedicated to culture where part of the Maison’s heritage is shown, as well as the High Jewellery workshop. This exceptional place was given its triple vocation from the beginning.
And to celebrate the reopening of this incredible maison at 12 Place Vendôme, Chaumet has not held anything back and has created a high jewelry collection for the occasion entitled Trésors d’ailleurs (Incidental Treasures). A selection of eight rings inspired by the roofs of the world, with different stones on certain models, such as the Shéhérazade ring with its oriental allure of the Qianlong model with its Chinese inspiration. These real treasures from Chaumet entirely dedicated to architecture are the perfect way to celebrate the renovation of the iconic 12 Place Vendôme.
