The open road beckons once more as the Bally Spring 2020 RTW collection is an adventure inspired by the road trips of pioneer color photographers Joel Sternfeld and Stephen Shore, and pays homage to the warm glow of a Californian sunset.

Bally’s carefree wanderlust yearns to discover a place disconnected from today’s hyper-connected world, escaping to Bally’s roots in Schonenwerd, Switzerland, and drawing further inspiration from the archive as it revisits familiar names and motifs across the collection.

Quality meets clean lines, giving way to a sense of ease and elegance, and a color palette inspired by the natural world. Unfussy and insouciant, the Bally Woman is an avid wanderer creating memories with pieces collected along the journey which make up her unique point of view.

Janelle finds a new form in a sandal, peep-toe mule and boots; the Cecyle half-moon shaped crossbody bag – named after C.F. Bally’s wife – comes in quilted leather referencing a bag from the 1970’s; and unexpected layering emphasizes different textures across ready-to-wear.
