Shop by Craig McDean, the Jimmy Choo Spring 2020 campaign featuring global supermodel, Kaia Gerber, for a third season. Dean’s playfully assertive images capture Gerber’s ethereal beauty and coming-of-age confident spirit in a series of strong stances, reflecting the very essence of the Jimmy Choo woman who dares to stand out.
“Kaia is a modern supermodel, she represents the archetypal Jimmy Choo muse for a new era and it was great to work with her again on the new campaign. Off the catwalk Kaia has a signature personal style that is the epitome of effortless cool. From her first campaign with us Kaia has worn our CRUZ combat, it became her go to and that led us to have a conversation about collaborating on her capsule shoe wardrobe,” said Sandra Choi, Creative Director.
Spring debuts the Jimmy Choo and Kaia collaboration, which sees the brand’s campaign muse together with Creative Director, Sandra Choi, create an exclusive capsule collection. Emanating from the Cruz boot, a style that Kaia has adopted as one of her wardrobe staples, the capsule comprises four designs, all modern classics. The collection is sharp, focused and precise echoing Kaia’s signature style that blends a youthful take on tailored ‘90s grunge meets Californian cool.
15% of all sales from the Jimmy Choo and Kaia capsule will be donated to Kaia’s charity of choice, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
“To me, Jimmy Choo represents strength and power. I am so grateful to be a part of the Spring Summer campaign. I jumped at the chance to work with Sandra on my dream capsule of shoe and boot styles, it was such an honour to be able to brainstorm creatively and I am so thrilled with the result. The mission of St Jude has always been closely connected to my family. From the beginning I wanted this collaboration to have a charitable element and I am so grateful that I can support this incredible organisation alongside Jimmy Choo,” said Kaia Gerber.
The Jimmy Choo and Kaia collection will be available online and in select stores from the 2nd February.
