The Max Mara Spring 2020 ad campaign, shot by Steven Meisel and featuring supermodels Gigi Hadid, Joan Smalls, Irina Shayk and Adriana Lima, features modern suiting with utilitarian touches and pops of pastel.

Creative Director Ian Griffiths once again proves his ability to move between strong separates and elegant, fluid silhouettes, all done in utter sophistication. Griffiths embraces a sophisticated color palette typical in bespoke fashion, centering on pearl gray and pastels as well as deeper shades like tobacco and black.

Featuring three-piece Prince-of-Wales checked suits, shorts with multi-pocket shirts in pastel colors to floor-length skirts in delicately colored paisley prints.

Pieces that mixed and matched includes suit pants and their Bermuda short counterpart, long skirts, duster coats, trench coats, and fluid dresses which slide over the body. The pockets, which come in all sizes show up everywhere on shirts, outerwear, and skirts.
