A contemplative, sophisticated cinematic feel permeates the new Tod’s Fall collection.

August 22, 2019

For the Tod’s Fall 2019 collection, the brand codes step into the limelight with a modern sense of luxury and a natural intimacy captured through the open-air filled with a refined Italian-style allure.

At Tod’s elegance is interlaced with a unique know-how, permeated by a typically Italian focus on detail and by a taste for all things well made. As always, leather takes center-stage, impeccably cut and expertly crafted, from the handsome outerwear to the bags playfully worn in multiples to the signature loafers featuring metal vamps. All in a saturated palette of camel tones graced by nuances of bordeaux, powder pink, dense green and dusty blue, on a black base.

The Tod’s Fall 2019 collection is rich in strong outerwear pieces that would comfortably sit in any modern wardrobe. Fitted glove-leather blazers in a caramel color were worn with pencil or pleated skirts; short, feather light trapeze-cut nappa leather dresses were softly draped at the neck. Boxy T-shirts in nude colors topped wide-leg drawstring pants in malleable tan leather, while knee-length Bermudas added a touch of boyish ease to practical urban looks.

Besides the variety of bucket bags and new versions of the ladylike D-Styling bag proposed in every possible size and color, the accessories have a svelte, modern take on masculine-inspired voluminous city coats and belted trenchcoats in Prince of Wales, houndstooth, or checkered wools.
