CHRISTIAN DIOR FALL 2019 POWER LOOK MAKEUP COLLECTION
This Fall, Peter Philips paints the portrait of a visionary woman with his new Power Look collection.
August 5, 2019
Set in an urban background, its raw palette electrified with the city’s neon lights, the new Christian Dior Fall 2019 Power Look collection is a season fuelled by the cultural frenzy of the modern metropolis.
“An urban woman who manages her career and cultural life. A strong woman who plays with makeup without losing credibility,” specifies Peter Philips.
The “Power Look” set features a darker color palette for the colder months ahead with pops of neon inspired by city lights. With key essentials from eyeshadows and lipsticks to finishing touches such as powders and nail polishes, Dior Makeup’s Creative Director Peter Philips has created this range to have every staple the modern woman needs while still giving space for creativity and personality.
Two 5 Couleurs powder eyeshadow palettes will be released with this collection. “Glorif-eye” is inspired by the city skyline and contains cooler blue tones, whereas “Intensif-eye” is a classic fall palette with warm burgandy and bronze colors. The collection also includes matte and satin finish Diorshow Liquid Mono cream eyeshadows and two neon Diorshow Pro eyeliner in vibrant “Lime” and “Orange” colorways. Brand new Rouge Graphist lip pencils and Ultra Rouge lipsticks will be released alongside two Dior Addict Lacquer Plumps in muted beige-grey “Ambitious” and deep plum “Vertiginous.”
For complexion, Dior Makeup’s range includes Diorskin Mineral Nude Matte powders in six shades as well as two Rouge Blush products in red-toned “Confident” and brown-toned “Independent.” There will also be four new Dior Vernis nail polish shades to complete the set. The nail lacquers take you from day to night in four colors named after different hours of the day – “9 A.M.” dark purple, “4 P.M.” brown taupe, “Rush Hour” neon green and “12 A.M.” charcoal.
