It’s Tokyo by night with a breathtaking view for the Dorothee Schumacher Resort 2020 collection inspired by a fearless attitude towards life.
The collection featured a vibrant color palette with golden and vibrant yellow, banana white, pure black, sparkling silver, midnight blue, fresh pink, dark ruby and Japanese red. Outlining bright colors with a Japanese influence, the line up was sophisticated with masculine/feminine variability.
The collection featured lurex jersey plissee, rey denim, cool wool bistretch, and luxury veg tan nappa leather. Printed lurex jacquard took over with Japanese cherry blossom print on silk satin, luxury cashmere knit oversized t-shirts and sporty cotton stretch twill.
The silhouettes were long and lean, short and flared with oversized or superslim tops. Sleak slouchy pant silhouette were paired with platform sandals. Long full skirts with slim fitting knits and short tunic dresses with straight fitting trousers were highlighted.
Cropped blousons with flared dresses was mixed with boyfriend suit with tapered cropped pants in cool wool. New lean silhouette print dresses with color block and wide volume sleeves followed loose fit skater spaghetti strap satin tops and bias cut and resses plus loose fit sweaters.
Cool skater minidresses with volume skirts, sockboot and cropped leather biker was spotlighted as monochrome styling was tone to tone with color block in down jackets, dresses and knits.
