BALENCIAGA PRE-FALL 2019 AD CAMPAIGN

Balenciaga enlists French contemporary photographer Jean-Pierre Attal to shoot the latest Fall campaign.

May 10, 2019

A desert setting offers up a stark contrast to the fashion house’s colorful styles for the season. Inspired by photographer Jean-Pierre Attal’s 2012 project ‘Ethnographic Landscapes’, models pose against changing backgrounds for the Balenciaga Pre-Fall 2019 ad campaign.

Styled by Lotta Volkova, jewel toned dresses, tailored outerwear and slinky gowns designed by Demna Gvasalia stand out. Chunky turtlenecks, oversized coats, slouchy trousers, vibrant parkas, and more share the spotlight.

The Fall 2019 collection features shearling and fur-collared, leather wrap jackets alongside neon-colored wool coats and practical hooded parkas and floor-length puffers. More experimental dressers will be drawn to the collection’s exaggerated, manipulated silhouettes.

The model cast includes Lei Qin, Samuel Wilken, Takato Harashima, Shanelle Nyasiase, Une Jonynaite and more.
