For the Jimmy Choo Resort 2019 collection, Creative Director Sandra Choi has conjured a collection that is lavish, enchanting, thrilling, seductive and surprising. The inspiration was ignited from a portfolio of photographs taken at the 1972 Surrealist Ball hosted by Marie-Hélène de Rothschild. The extravagant attire and exceptional poise of Rothschild’s guests that spanned Salvador Dali to Brigitte Bardot, sparked a collection whose richness of detail is matched by its inventiveness.
“The Cruise 2019 collection stars many of the Choo codes we have worked so carefully to build over the years but uses them in unexpected new ways,” said Choi.
Bags play with the new Choo logo motif in relief and minaudière opens to reveal exquisitely designed satin compartments for phone, lipstick, credit cards and bank notes offered in metallic leather, python and Supernova shooting star crystal decoration.
