MICHAEL KORS FALL 2018 RTW COLLECTION

MICHAEL KORS FALL 2018 RTW COLLECTION

Michael Kors created a valentine to personal style with the Fall collection.

February 26, 2018

The Michael Kors Fall 2018 collection was an eclectic mix of wardrobe icons. With bold tartans and stripes, romantic florals and dot, the fair isles, argyles and foulards played off of graphic leopard and zebra. Rugged camo meets couture floral chiné and menswear tailoring juxtaposed with feminine lingerie. Soft ruffles and crisp sportswear were mixed with the modernist cocktail dress, the effortless train, and the streamlined pannier.

In the first Michael Kors collaboration with British iIllustrator David Downton, the artist featured his inimitable takes on individual style.

Shoes had a personality with the pointy kitten heel, the stomper boot, the opulent shower slide, the chunky ’70s platform. Bags had attitude and charm as the luxe shopping bag, the tailored jellyroll, the sleek top-handle frame bag, the utility shoulder bag have character. Glamorous pearl and diamanté jewels were starred and jaunty fedoras and oversized mufflers create an iconic and eclectic style.

From the iconic front row to the must-see models and all the fabulous fashion in between, here’s your inside pass to the Fall 2018 runway show, as seen at Lincoln Center.
