From the City of Lights to the City that Never Sleeps, the Louis Vuitton ‘Volez, Voguez, Voyagez’ exhibition has arrived in New York City at the historic American Stock Exchange.
Curated by Olivier Saillard, the exhibition retraces the adventure of the House of Louis Vuitton from 1854 to the present. A story told through the portraits of its founders, as well as those who today are inventing the Louis Vuitton of tomorrow.
Louis Vuitton has created an app for the exhibition on Apple Download allowing us to dive deep into the world of Louis Vuitton and enhance your visit. Start the exhibition by digitally tagging the walls. Take photos with filters inspired by each room of Louis Vuitton exhibition. Bring Louis Vuitton’s portrait to life with augmented reality. The album of the exhibition, ‘Volez, Voguez, Voyagez’ – Louis Vuitton, guides readers through an overview of the brand whose ingenious innovation has made traveling effortless as well as fashionable. From the flat trunk perfected by Louis Vuitton himself, up to the present under the direction of Nicolas Ghesquière, a piece of the brand’s luggage has always been the quintessential tool in the jet-set traveler’s arsenal. The book is organized in 9 sections as in the exhibition and it contains around 200 magnificent illustrations.
The Louis Vuitton ‘Volez, Voguez, Voyagez’ exhibition will be open at 86 Trinity Place, New York from October 27 through January 7, 2018.
