The Chanel Numéros Rouge Holiday 2017 collection plays on the paradox of being both intense yet effortless; bold yet simple; glamorous yet elegant. Each product earns its place in the collection by offering a new twist on a classic step: the ultimate, curated red lipstick; the reimagined smoky eye; the unexpected nails.

“I want to have the red lipstick that Chanel has chosen for me,” said Lucia Pica.

The iconic red lipstick is tailor-made with a unique undertone for each woman in the latest Chanel Numéros Rouge. Offered in a choice of four reds numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively it is a return to the classic territory of Chanel. The four red lipsticks, two classic ROUGE ALLURE shades and two more matte ROUGE ALLURE VELVET, form the heart of the collection. Lucia Pica has used her expert eye for color and her forensic knowledge of the beauty
of clean, glowing skin to create the perfect red for each woman. Red lips also come in two unexpected shades of ROUGE COCO GLOSS: True, a luminous bright coral, and Romance, a sultry deep red.

Meanwhile, makeup for eyes, cheeks and nails act as something of a “supporting cast” in the collection and also utilize red tones in many cases. Eyes are the closest “co-stars” for the lips, featuring dark hues and shine for a look worthy of the silver screen, particular the exclusive creation in TRAIT DE CARACTÈRE, a palette of five eye shadows that play a range of characters from the shy brown-beige-pink and platinum ivory to the emboldened deep aubergine and intense emerald green.
