Go on an epic journey to the heart of the brand with the Sergio Rossi ‘The Magic Kingdom’ film exploring the manufacturing plant in San Mauro Pascoli, in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna.
Directed by the L.A.-based Italian Bruno Miotto, the film spotlights the stages of the shoes’ creation, from the initial vision to the final product. Models Lou Schoof, Bhumika Arora and gymnast Nataliya Bulycheva are seen wandering through the factory’s hallways and channeling modern fairy-tale characters, called Alice, Jas and Bianca.
Despite advances in technology, research, machinery, and advanced quality control systems in our modern factory premises, the brand remains dedicated to the pure luxury of artisanship. Each shoe undergoes a minimum of 120 essential steps before it is placed in a box bearing the Sergio Rossi name.
“The first time I visited San Mauro Pascoli’s factory, I was fascinated by the structure, deep knowledge and methodical work of the artisans,” said Sergio Rossi Group’s chief executive officer Riccardo Sciutto to Footwear News. “I immediately felt the urge to tell Sergio Rossi’s story through that of its factory, which is the heart and soul of our company,” he added.
Welcome to the Magic Kingdom of Sergio Rossi. A place where magic happens everyday.
